Chanel. Coco Chanel. The Woman and the Legend.

Well, it’s no secret that I have a great passion to Chanel. Actually, I love everything about Chanel, from the woman to its latest mascara. In a perfect world, I’d have all of her clothes, shoes, perfumes, sunglasses, cosmetics and makeup. I would never want to wear anything else but Chanel.

I’m more than willing to sign on that if askcoco-chanel-style-3ed to.

Since this world is anything but perfect, I settle for less. Much less, that is. I follow her. I know all of her collections by heart and adore them all. I sometimes use her perfume (Allure is my favorite) and always use her makeup. That’s practically it.

It was only very recently when I found out that there is more than one movie made about her. A few days ago, I finally had the time to watch Coco Avant Chanel. I was actually looking forward to see this one for a long time, as I was interested to know more and more about this fascinating woman.

I was so disappointed.

It took the entire movie to get to the most important point of it – to her success. And then it ended. As my friend Shachar said today, the movie ended exactly when it was supposed to actually begin.

Too bad.
