Nick Knight for Another Magazine

I’ve been asked quite a lot lately about what it is that fascinates me in the world of fashion. It seems like “fashion” is such a big word, and each one of us, fashion writers, has this one thing that interests him/her most and they swear by it. For me, it was never about the fashion news, the changes, the intrigues or, god forbids, the gossip. I have no interest whatsoever in what’s going on inside other people’s lives, closets or relationships.

For me, it has always been about the art.

From time to time, I’m lucky enough to find things on magazines or on the internet that makes me miss a few heartbeats. Nick Knight has a great talent to make me feel that way. While searching for new inspiration today ( I’ve been looking for quite some time now, so frustrating…) I bumped into this beautiful video on SHOWstudio.

Yes. This is what it’s all about for me, and nothing besides that. The art.
