TED is probably one of my biggest internet addictions. Whenever I run out of inspiration or in need of a boost, I just go in there and pick a random talk and enjoy it. This one by designer Isaac Mizrahi is definitely one of my favorites:
I hope you liked it just like I do,

The new perfume ad campaign is up. Well, there’s nothing about it that I don’t like. She only wears the most perfect outfit, the music is fun, and it’s beautifully done. All there’s left to do now is to check out the perfume itself

My piece about this exciting collaboration is published today on Haaretz.com in English. Joy!
Here it is, for you too. Bellow you can find the link to the online version of it both in Hebrew and English:

Alber Elbaz, an Israeli who is the artistic director at the influential Lanvin fashion house, has agreed to design a collection for the H&M clothing chain. H&M announced the new line in a press release on Thursday that put an end to rumors on the subject.
The collection, developed with Lanvin’s men’s clothing designer Lucas Ossendrijver, will come out before the Christmas holiday and will be unveiled on November 2 on H&M’s website.
To be called “Lanvin for H&M,” it will be launched at 200 flagship H&M stores worldwide – including Israel – on November 23, and three days earlier in the United States. H&M’s collaboration with Lanvin is expected to be a boon for the store chain, inasmuch as many consumers have high regard for Lanvin’s clothing but are put off by the price.
As a teaser, H&M posted several video clips about the new collection on the Internet site YouTube prior to the formal announcement, in which Elbaz is heard talking about the collection but was not identified. Many people were able to identify his voice and his design style nonetheless.

Here’s my list of events, that changes and grows bigger as I blog here…
I start tomorrow morning with sunglasses presentation of all the big designers for the summer collections for 2010. I hope to find something nice for myself there too, but only if it looks better than my black Chanel’s.
I will take pictures there for sure to post here afterwards.
Tomorrow night is the big Castro launch of their limited Alice In Wonderland collection, so they are throwing a closed party for it. Here’s a beautiful video I got, attached to my invitation, you must see this one, it’s art!
Credit goes to Sunny Side Up Productions and EPW Media. Thanks to my friend Michal Ronel from http://epw-media.com/ for sharing it with me
And then comes Thursday night – and the big private premiere of The September Issue, it’s about time it’ll come to Israel
So there’s a big event with many celebrities, models, designers and press. Here’s a trailer for all of you who have already seen this movie or haven’t yet:

And here’s the post I wrote quite a while ago after watching the movie in New York – here.
I also got the most perfect Valentine’s Day present from my boyfriend – a web camera I can take videos with and upload them directly to YouTube, so I’m going to take videos of everything from now on
Most importantly – this camera fits all of my clutch bags, so no excuses…
Stay tuned,
xoxo,
Hilla Ohayon.
