Sarah Burton is, by all means, a genius. My only regret will ever be that she had to take over Alexander McQueen, and never had the chance to become famous before he died. Then again, had she became famous regardless of McQueen, she might not be available to take over his position, and I seriously can’t imagine anyone who could do it better than her.

I personally don’t think there is someone better than Sarah Burton to take over Alexander McQueen’s position is head designer of his brand. Her work is remarkable, and yet she is still so humble and sweet.
Even when she works, she constantly asks herself – ‘What would Alexander McQueen do?’ -

Savage Beauty Alexander McQueen exhibit at the Met
It broke a new attendance record for a fashion installation – that’s more than half a million visitors at the Met museum! How huge is that? If only Lee was here to see this… I’m sure he’d be happy. RIP

Just a little before the Met Gala started last night, Daphne Guinness picked her new interesting location to get dressed and ready to go to the ball – the windows at Barneys New York. Her performance was something the fashion world will remember for quite some time now, I assume
