From New York Fashion Week to WWD Magic in Vegas!

Oh yeah, it’s been a crazy week. I arrived to NYC on Wednesday early in the am to find a beautiful frozen city. As  I picked up my credentials from the Mercedes Benz offices just in front of Lincoln Center, I couldn’t decide which fashion show I’d like to see first. I decided to go and see Rebecca Minkoff’s show, because it was the first time she participates in the shows, and also because I have a growing suspicion (;-)) that she is also where I am at now – Las Vegas.

First thing’s first – she had an amazing show, and I’m in love with her handbags and maxi dresses, which are my new thing lately. The colors, the shapes, the flow of the fabrics were all very feminine, flattering and most of all – free.

4 days in New York went by in a heartbeat – I saw my new and old friends, shopped, walked (a lot) and, of course, ate :)

This morning I got up at 5am to get to the airport. I flew to Vegas for the WWD Magic of 2011 event, which collaborates with Teen Vogue to bring 30 style bloggers here for the shows

I can’t wait to meet everybody in just a bit!

Stay tuned for my updates here, on my Tumblr and on Twitter.

The Sartorialist video – A must-see

So inspiring. I’m totally blown away. Too  bad it’s only 7:11 minutes long…

Living in Fashion

I just took these pics today when I somehow found out that these are the things I do every day! I pack two bags: 1 handbag, 1 laptop bag, go out to my favorite cafe to work, get a big coffee and go over my favorite fashion blogs and websites. Here are a few of my everyday to-do’s.

You can always trust that life in fashion will be beautiful and interesting :-)
