After attending Rebecca Minkoff’s fashion shows this season and last season, I just new for sure that she was heading towards the right direction – up. Her little handbags brand has grown so much and so fast, and it always had a true sense of fashion in it, even when it wasn’t so obvious.
A short video taken with model Agyness Deyn walking on the beach proofs it – Rebecca Minkoff got it. It’s not about showing as many of your designs as you can in 20 seconds. It’s about your story, it’s about who you are and it’s about your inspirations as a designer and as a brand, and that’s all.

Yesterday I attended the Rebecca Minkoff fall/winter 2012 show at Lincoln Center. I’ve been following Rebecca for a couple of years now, and always happy to see how fast she is evolving, becoming bigger, designing more and never stops on her way up. From a small handbags collection, she is now designing a full RTW line, very chic, wearable and affordable. I was lucky enough to get such a great seat at the show yesterday, so I took pics with my iPhone 4S (it has such an amazing camera for a phone, really!) of every look!
